 Hello,
I have vp-996 programmer and I try to read nand flash memory K9K8G08U0DSCB0. After reading I try to verify bufer and chip memory and it doesn`t mach:
"Device Address:39C00000H　Device Data:FFH　Buffer Address:39C00000H　Buffer Data:00H
>>Verify fail!
" I use softwer version 4.6.5 and I did it with and without "prog config".
Please be so kind and advice how to fix above problem.

 Hi, Chip is OK for 100%
I have chip K9K8G08UOD, and in software I set as K9K8G08UOM. But is difference between this chips.
It is possibility that You add this memory to list?

 about nand chip,mostly all chip have bad block.

ok help me understand. reads the memory and then reads it again and compared with what I read before and I have always error in the same place, regardless of the chip.
in my opinion, to read K9K8G08UOD you should create a new algorithm.
K9K8G08UOD is 4Gb D-die NAND Flash. K9K8G08UOM　is　1G x 8 Bit / 2G x 8 Bit NAND Flash Memory
.It is possibility that You create algorithm for this chip?

 you can select K9K8G08UOM　to program K9K8G08UOD.
your chip have a bad block, please see its datasheet.

 I had the same problem reading and writing to a HYNIX 2GB flash memory. The problem Never got fix.I had a VP896 which I sold it because it doesn"t work on NAND memory. So don"t waste your time on this.

Some NAND memory will have bad blocks,The Weilei software doesn"t function correctly to skip these bad blocks. The Weilei software don"t read or write to any NAND correctly!! I wasted 6 months on this !!!

but every nand chip is maybe not same Method to skip these bad blocks.

 Kulwik, I invested 6 months into this, trying to read and write to a H27UAG8TMTR with a new VP896 from Weilei and we tried difference configuration and setting. And all have failed. I purchase another programmer everything works.I can read write and erase any NAND with no problem.this guy "LxL" keep faulting the NAND chip having bad blocks.Some NAND will have bad block straight from the Manufacture but its the programmer"s software that should manage bad block and not read or write to that area.

 There is no standard bad block marking format, and every program designers who use the chip can define their own one. Our programmer provide a default bad block jumping algorithm, but if the chip"s bad block marking format is not our default one, it won"t work. If you have the chip"s bad block marking format, we can provide customized software service to solve this problem.

 Olá Kulwik, eu também tenho erro com meu Wellon VP896 para gravar e lê nand flash samsung K9GAG08U0E erro Cod. Princ:FF Cod Disp:FF esse Editor de Buffer do Programador Wellon não suporta arquivos grande por isso da sempre erro.
o fabricante do WELLON tem que aumentar esse EDITOR DE BUFFER ou seja esse EDITBUF.EXE que fica na pasta C:\weilei\WELLON.
