TMS370C722NT read ok - buffer empty Reply

 I have a problem with reading TMS370C722NT chip. I bought Vellon VP996 and adapter WL-DIP40-M238. When i trying read this chip everything is fine. Software told me Read: OK but buffer is epmpty.
This chip not have read protection.
Why buffer is empty? How to properly read this chip?

 its data is 1F00H-1FFFH and 6000H-&7FFFH

 I know that this chip has 3 different areas of data:
- 8K bytes of OTP EPROM at address 0x6000-0x7FFF,
- 256 bytes of EEPROM from 0x1F00-0x1FFF and
- 256 bytes of RAM from 0x0000-0x00FF

I would like read all this data. So I thought when i choose Read button all data (full range) is read.
But it"s not, becaouse I"ve got in buffer in each range "FF".

 It"s not possible that this chip is empty becouse it was taken out from machine.

Maybe I"m doing something wrong with reading? Shall i point out specified address range? If so where?
