vp190 not programming config word Reply

B G Aminu Please help, i bought vP190 programmer and try to programm PIc16f88 microcontrollers but it　seem it　is　 only programming the program　 memory, while the config word fails.I tried　to alter the　cconfig settings　both fromm my compiler IDE and the wellon programmmer IDE but the cchanges fail to reflect.
