 Hello ! I just buy VP-290 , my first impression is ok .　It is possible to erase M35080 and M35080V6 ? Please tell me how can be erased M35080 and M35080V6 with VP-290 programmer ? Best regards !

 M35080 didn"t need erase.You can programme directly.The data can replace automatically.But,the first 32 byte can"t be programmed repeatedly.The first 32 byte is one-off.When the first 32 byte is bank,the data is 00H.

 The device can be programed directly with VP-290 only if the device M35080 is new or the value of data stored in incremental area is higher than value whos stored before . If you vant to put lower value in incremental area the device M35080 must be erased !
I used the new device for tests . In this case for my aplicatins i must use new device every time because the device canot be erased with VP-290 . Please add suport for erase M35080 like other programers can do .

 The first 32 bytes can"t be erased. This is chip"s capability. The programmer can"t alter the chip"s capability.

 Following is 35080 datasheet.
The first 32-byte page is organized as 16 words
(two bytes each). The initial content of each word
on this page is 0000h. When writing to byte-pair, a
logic comparator verifies that the new two-byte
value is larger than the value currently stored. If
the new value is smaller than the current one, no
operation is performed. It is impossible to write a
value lower than the previous one.

 Lxx in theory you are truth but other people allready made the "impossible", they manage sommehow to erase that device M35080 and M35080V6 ... You have proof in uperlink, programmers from Etlweb and Elrasoft can erase M35080 ! Nothing is impossible !

Improve your products and you will have more buyers !
