VP-480 broken Reply

 Hi,

　My VP-480 stopped working (it is in warranty). Worked very good until a few days ago when I began getting errors in programming devices. I programmed devices on another programmer and they were good. I also did reset (as in manual) No fix. I ran self-test: Pin 23 Input is High, VPP output is high.

　I live in the United States, so not easy to send back to China. Is there a company here in the US that can fix my VP-480 for me?

 Sorry, no company in the US can fix VP-480. But if you understand electronic repair, we can tell you how to repair. Email the picture about Selftest all Errors to me.

 System Test: VCC Output is low - P23. GND Output is High - P23. System Test fail.
VCC Vol. Cal. (3V), P23. Read 2.65V (Low???)
VPP0 Voll. Cal. (12V), P23. Read 12.10V
VPP1 Vol. Cal. (12V), P22. Read 12.07V
VPP0 Vol. Cal. (25V), P23. Read 25.2V
VPP1 Vol. Cal. (25V), P22. Read 25.2V

Output test not checked.

 In the topboard,V23 and Q23 maybe bad.V23 is PNP 8550,Q23 is NPN 8050.
You can compare those with other PNP and NPN.

 Thank you for your help. I could not find　the surface mount V23 PNP 8550 so I found a TO92 device which is close. I soldered it in and my 3 vol. cal test now measures 3.065V. I can also program devices.

Since I cannot find the devices here in my city, please send me 6 units of Q23 (NPN 8050) and 6 units of V23 (PNP 8550) so I have replacements if other transistors fail. Please send to my address I included in my email directly to you.
