karrom I have a satellite reciver have achip number S29AL016MXXTF-R1 I read　the chip -read ok　compare ok--and when i write the same data to　　　another chip ..programming ok .compare ok but the satellite receiver didnot work..i tried many chips..is the chip protected or the dump protected.. the problem just this model of receivers　i have vp-880 and vp -890 Go back list [ Posted:2009-05-16 05:37:11 ]

jin Because this chip S29AL016M has a secured silicon sector region which may be protected before. Once this sector is protected, no further changes within the sector can occur. So when you replace one chip to another, it may possibly have some problems. Go back list [ Posted:2009-05-19 16:05:55 ]
