VP-ISP 1 and 25x80A VSIG - write problem Reply

I"m having problems with 25x80AVSIG chip. Reading OK, Erasing OK, Write Failed: Device buffer: FF, File Buffer: 61.
It seems that nothing is writing.
I"ve found info that someone programmed this family chip setting the "Invert SCLK" option in PonyProg software.
In Yours there is no such options for Fuse BITs or so, I think that would be a very useful thing to be able to work on BIT"s.

I have tested this chip with ISP programmer. There is not any problem. So ,I think, you had better test it without your board. That means, you only programme this chip, not in your board.

The chip is removed from the motherboard. Will try again later.
Did You used some unusual settings in software while programming this chip?

There is a mistake in my first post.
The thing is that I have "25x80 VSIG" chip, but in software I can only select "25x80A VSIG". From datasheets, it looks like both chips have same pinouts but It doesn"t write.
Have You tested this 25x80VSIG ?

The datasheet of 25X80V is the same as 25X80AV.Their version is different.Do you test this chip without board? Is the result error?

Yes, the chip is removed from motherboard.
Writing chip gives an error that says: Buffer data : 61 , Chip data: FF.

I"ve send chip for tests to local Weilei reseller. Will see if chips is ok or broken.

The reseller tested chip on vp-990 and vp-isp 1. programming was successful. He send back chip soldered to a small programming board.
After connecting to my VP-ISP, software read only FF from the chip. I"ve called back to reseller and we both checked if I"m connecting OK. It was OK so I"ve sent my VP-ISP 1 and the chip back to reseller for further diagnosis.
Another thing is that the read and saved buffer is 1048592 bytes while original file is 1048576 bytes. Maybe the VP-ISP 1 is broken ?

About the buffer size,in our software,we add 16 byte to save config. So,when you save the file, the buffer size is 16 byte more than the original file. This operation will not break your original file.
