VP-380 after System update to Vp-280 ??? Reply

 Hi

I have Vp-380 programer with firmware version 11.0
I downloaded Wellon soft 30.05.2010 (10:53) Size 24.4MB
I run system update and it went ok. Green led all ok.
I restarted software now my VP-380 is VP-280.
Firmware version 9.0 ?

What kind of UN-UPGRADE is this ?

 I tried update with latest software 3.6.2010 firmware is still 9.0
I just checked Device list and it"s vp-380.html as it should be. Thanks for that huhhh, but Firmware is stil 9.0.

Adapter power On
Programmer mode: Comunication ok
Programer type: vp-380
Serial no: 3811-7796<>20000013B903BB
Ver 4.3.0(3.6.2010)
Firmware 9.0 -------------> It was 11.0 before upgrade...

 I have the same problem in VP280.

The original firmware verion is 11.0. I have upgraded the software to 4.3 3/6/1010 and press help then system upgrade. The system success upgrade. After restart the software, I found that the firmware is 9.0.

Adapter power Off
Programmer mode: Comunication ok
S/n: 2811-7402<>1600001 3B8C8BE
Ver 4.3.0(3.6.2010)
Firmware 9. (It was verion 11 before upgrade)

How to revert the firmware to 11.0?

 From verion 11.to verion 9.0. It is downgrade. Not system upgrade!!

 vr2yxt, wouldn"t it be logical for menu to be "System downgrade" and not "System update" ???

I see no support from Wellon on this subject also??

 Hi Nex,

It is so strange the firmware has downgrade to 9.0 from 11.0 becasue the software shows "system upgrade".

I have send email to weilong@weilei.com.cn about this problem. Hope they can solve this problem.

They should have responsibility and ability to solve this problem.

 I upgraded the software to 4.3 7/6/2010 and system upgrade the VP280 but the firmware is still ver 9.0

 Hi Nex,

I have get email reply from weilei.com.cn.
He said that the verion 9.0 is correct and version 11 is wrong display due to the software problem.

 version 11 is PCB version.version 9.0 is Firmware version.
