 I have VP-280B. It will program GAL16VP8-25LJ if I use adaptor. This is PLCC　package. I need to program GAL16VP8B-25LP. This is 20 pin DIP package. Can you supply driver to allow program of DIP package device?

 We have add the chip GAL16VP8B-25LP DIP in the software, please download the newest software later.Before you downloading the new software, you can select the GAL16VP8B PLCC20 in the software, and program your DIP chip.

 Please help!! I did download the updated software last month and did see the GAL16VP8 DIP listed as you said. However, now that I am trying to program this GAL the software says" No Device On Socket". I can easily program other GAL chips but not this one.　PLEASE recheck that the pinout of this GAL16VP8 is correct as this one does have a different pinout.
I need to get this working ASAP as it is holdign up a project I am working on.
Your help is very much appreciated.

 sorry, VP-280 can not supports GAL16VP8B because its hardware.

 I have proceded to this point because you told me you DID support GAL16VP8B. This leaves me in a very dificult position. Can you offer instruction to make an adaptor so the VP-280B will support the GAL16VP8B? Can you offer a low cost upgrade to a different programmer that will support the GAL16VP8B?

Please let me know so I can decide how I must proceed.
