Chip support request

Hi, can you please add support for the 48 TSOP version of the 29F1610A to the VP-890? The 44 SOP version seems to be supported but I need support for the 48 TSOP version. Here is a datasheet:

Hi, I have been trying this on chips and it"s not working correctly. It gives an error that pins at P1, 2, 3, 24 and 48 are not connected, but I have tried it on 4 different chips so there"s no way all 4 are not connecting in the same exact way. I have used the adapter successfully with other chip types so it"s good. I think maybe the software configuration for them is incorrect?

I have just downloaded the software marked as 1/22/2011 on the download page (it shows in the software as Ver.4.3.2(1/21/2011) though) and it has this problem still. If there is a newer version of the software that is supposed to download, the changes haven"t gone through on the web yet I guess. I will try redownloading it later. My firmware shows up as Ver.4.0, not sure if that could affect it or if there is an update for the firmware.

In the "Setting Options" part which is below the "Run Time Viewer", please select the "Device ID check" without "Insertion Test",test whether the chip ID can be read correctly and whether the chip can be read and programmed correctly.

It will read out some data if I do that but it gets a different read and check sum every time so it isn"t functioning properly. It also doesn"t have the correct code for checking the device ID / signature.

OK, I was using the 1/26 software before. I installed the 1/27 version and it seems to be working correctly. It still shows the bad connections but if I ignore the message and read it, it reads and gives the same CRC each read now. The data looks good. Thanks! I will let you know if I run into anymore problems with them. I still have some testing to do but it appears to be working correctly so far. By the way, I think your software zip download might be corrupted but the exe download worked OK.
