vp-890 dead, any hope? Reply

 Hello everyone,

I was updating the firmware of the　vp-890 (soft v 4.3.2) when I got messaage "Program file" and that was all. Now when I try to connect it, usb port doesn"t recognize it. I believe the software wasn"t written correctly and that is why mcu is dead now, hence USB interaface. Can anyone tell how to solve this issue, has anyone faced it?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

 If your programmer that had the function of update online lost its program, you can resume it:

1 Open the cover.

2 Find JP1(J1), short circuit. Connect with PC and wait for communication is OK while the LINK LED is bright. Then take out short circuit on JP1(J1).

3 Enter WELLON’s system, updating the firmware. When update is OK, exit system.

4 Off Power,and on power again, enter WELLON again.

thank you for the reply. I did it exactly how you said. It didn"t make any changes. The LEDs are dead and it is like shorting jumpers or not makes no difference.
What else can be done?

 Please return it to the reseller, if you buy it in one year, the there will be no fare, if not, you will have to pay the cost of maintenance
