 Hello there,

I am owner of VP-590 model, today from one dvd player i take out sop44 on him writed 29F080-70, manufacturer is Macronix and when i try to read in buffer i see all zero but to end of dump i see FF can my VP-590 can read or cant that flash chip, dvd player is from my service and i can kill him isnt important but i try training and im erase him now dvd not work and im not read dump. Any sulution for help??

 Which adapter did you use? Is the adapter connect the same as ours?

 Hello jin, i work with code, decode etc so adapter isnt unknow thing for me, adapter is psop44 or sop44 and connected adapter pin1 to programmer pin 3, adapter pin 2 to programmer pin 4 etc .... however and how i can see my welon not programm flash memory, today from satelite reciever i desolder EN29LV160AT tsop48 and put him in adapter WL-TSOP48-U1 again same trouble all are zeros and after read have to end some FF ...

 so flash is like this from adres 00000000H to 001F7FF0H are zero and from 001F8000H to 001FFFF0H is FF ... how i can see that isnt flash chip trouble my velon is trouble, have some help or what i can do?? here is flash memory wich im read from that EN29LV160AT chip http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3V8JONZ2

 p.s.

before me friend are buy same model 590 like mine and read / write 29lv640 from navigaton normaly and said to me buy velon he is nice programmer. I am read with him 27256 eprom but this flash chips i cant :( , sorry why i write in 3 answer but forum is limited with 500 words

 do you use newest wellon software?
please run "Test"-->"Self_test"-->"Test",Is all OK?
please select "Device ID Check",do you read correct "Device ID"?

 new sw is solve my troubles. i had 4.3.3(17.8.2011) and fw version 10.0 im install new sw same version 4.3.3 but date　is 8.12.2011 and all is ok read, write, verify, erase, compare etc... thanx to all for help i dont know how early version of sw can make that troubles but all is ok
