TTL/CMOS Tests All Fail on Good Chips Reply

 Received Wellon VP-290 today.
My Software version 4.3.4 on Windows XP . Firmware Ver 5.0
Blue Link LED is lit, G/E LED is not lit.

Try to test CMOS CD4051BE but it fails every chip. I am testing known good chips.　I am using 4051 test. Tried other CMOS but they fail too.

After clicking Test -> TTL CMOS Test　a screen pops up that says "Pin Map. P27 and P28 have yellow color in box. Other boxes are white

What is wrong with my unit? .

 when test 14 pins device,please connect a line between P27 and P28.

 This is NOT a 14 pin device. This chip has 16 pins.

The popup window "Pins Map" says
"When test 14 pin device, connect a line (P31 P32)" which is different from what you are saying.

Pins P27 and P28 are part of the DUT.

Do you not understand your own software?

 I have tried testing with a line connected to P31 and P32. Same fail result. I have tried testing with a line connected to P27 and P28 with same fail result.

Expected: V0002: 11L1100G0011101V
Result　　　 V0002: 11H1100G0011101V

Expected: V0003: 11L1100G0101110V
Result　　　 V0003: 11H1100G0101110V

and it fails the rest of the lines as well

 This chip donn"t need short any pin.We had test our software. It is OK. Your chip can"t pass test. It should be bad chip.

 As I wrote earlier: "I am testing known good chips."　

These chips are brand new and are tested to work in a circuit. There is no way that that the chips are bad.　It is obviously the programmer.　

What kind of quality control testing is done on the units before they ship? Did I just happen to get one that failed during transport?

 Please test your programmer. If it is OK,it means that your chip can not pass our test. Our TTL&CMOS test is open. If you think your chip is not bad, please edit 4051"s test until you think its well.

 I have tested the programmer further and I have come to the conclusion that it is faulty. The self test is now intermittently failing. I am unable to program anything.

I am very disappointed in the quality of the product and support that I have received thus far.

I have returned the programmer to the individual I have purchased it from.
