VP-390 PIC16F716 Reply

 Hi,

I am getting an error when trying to program a PIC16F716. I have tried several different IC"s of the same type without success.
I can program OK on my TOP2004 programmer but my new Wellon VP-390 does not work with this IC.

Every second erase fails. Every write fails.

Please help fix this issue.

 I have upgraded the software to V4.3.4 and the programmer firmware from V13.0 to V14.0.

It is still broken.

I am now getting a Device code error.
ManCode:29, DevCode:FF

 Hi,

Still the same problem trying to program a PIC16f716.
I have updated the Software to V4.3.4 (14/02/2012) and the programmer firmware to V15.0.
Every second erase looks like it works but it doesnt. When trying to program they always fails.

 We have tested this chip, but we did not find any problems.Please change another chips to try

 The Wellon programmer works correctly with the AMD Micro, but Fails with the PIC.
I used the same physical PIC in my TOP2004 and ICD2 programmers and it programmed up correctly.

There is definitely something wrong with the Wellon programmer. Can you please look further into it.
