vp-380 not working with PIC 16F84A Reply

Brainman hello, i tried programming PIC16F84A with wellon VP-380 programmer,it says programme "OK" display my setting as RC even when changed to Crystal.when i test the programmed chip it does nothing.how can i solve this problem? is it software or firmware problem and where can it be downloaded? gxj I think you did not program configuration. When you want to program PIC16f84A, you can do as follows: 　 1,Please select PIC16f84A in our software. 　 2,Please load the HEX file properly. 　 3,Click "Config"　button, select options according your need ,and then click "OK". 　 4,Select "Erase\Blank Check" and "Program\Verify" and "Prog Config" in　"Edit Auto" on the right side screen. 　 5,Last clilk "Prog" button. Brainman hi, maybe u did not read my mail well,i have done what u said i should do several times even before writing to you,i hav even downloaded the latest programming software from you website for version but to no available.i think it could be a firmware issue or hardware problem with the Wellon programmer. The problem is that it does recognize XT,LT,HT in the fuse setting,it only recognizes RC even when u set any other setting.and when u program with RC,the chip(16F84A or 16F877A )still wont work Go back list [ Posted:2012-06-15 16:58:35 ]
