vp-190 bad tests on 74139,194 & 670 Reply

 I have tested several of these IC"s both new and suspect and I can not get a pass on any 74ls193,194 or 670"s.　Is something buggy in the software ?

 So I checked the data sheets and a 192 is functionally equivalent to a 193 and the software found it as a 192.　The test for a 193 is different than the 192 though so I don"t know what"s going on there.

Still doesn"t explain why the programmer can"t find nor test a 194 or 670 although they are listed.

Any ideas ?

 about 193,194 please download.
about 670, maybe VP-190 cannot support it because its hardware.

 Please download what ?　I don"t suppose there is an actual accurate list available from the maker　of this device that says exactly what it will do and will not do ?　I"m getting frustrated with the uncertainty.

 I have attempted to test 74ls191,193,194,393,670 and 109"s that I　 know are good but they all test bad on the VP-190.

Is this a software problem or is the 190 incapable of testing these　　devices.　If I knew the answer I could either attempt a fix of the　　　　　 vectors or move on to a different product.

If this forum is monitored by Wellon staff then it would be nice to　　　 hear from one of you on this.　And please give me a coherent answer　　not just "download the new soft."

 about 193,194 please download new soft.
about 393,670, maybe VP-190 cannot support it because its hardware.

 OK I"ll download the new soft.　I have recently updated so which version has the corrections I am looking for ?

If you are not a member of the support staff then I apologize in advance and thank you for your help.　If your a Wellon employee then how do you not know what the device is capable of ?　Does anyone at Wellon have this info that they could pass on ?　 It would be really helpful.

 Verson 4.6.0 is the new software verson.

For TTL testing, originally, it"s not the function of VP-190. Because some customers required this function for 190, we add this function in 190. But because of the limitation of the hardware, 190 can"t support some chips that higher-level programers support. We will soon seperate those chips and sorry for the inconvenient.
