Error: Firmware ver is lower, HELP! Reply

 Hello
I have VP-990, version 4.6.1, firmware version 11.0.
I am trying to read Intel Flash TSOP56 TE28F640J3C.
Now, the programmer shows an error when i press "read".
On the screen, it shows this error:
Note! Firmware ver is lower, please update! "help"-"system update".
I did that, but this does not work!! and the program becomes "not responding".
This is very annoying, because everytime there is a software update, there are problems!
Please help! what can i do?

 I selected "help" / "system update", then it says : "OFF programer Power then ON again", i did that, then it says "reconnect USB cable", i did that, and it is the same problem!

 Now please tell me the firmware version of your programmer.
Did you have updated successfully? If didn"t,please follow these steps.
1. Please click "systemupdate",when the softwareshows, "Reconnect USB cable and AC power",then please reconnect AC power and USB line firstly(also you can turn off the switch and then turn on), and then click the “OK” button.

 2.The programmer will update continuously, and the software will show a window” Connect the USB cable”. Then please reconnect the USB cable,don"t move AC adapter, and then click the “OK” button.
3. The programmer will update continuously, then it shows "systen update success" ,then reconnect the power adapter and USB cable again, and reopen the software.

 Hi, the firmware version of my VP-990 is 11.0
When i click on "system update", a few seconds after, i get a message: turn the programmer power OFF then ON again", so i do that by pressing the switch from 1 to 0.

 After i do that, i get another message: "reconnect USB cable", so i disconnect the USB cable, and when i reconnect it, the software FREEZE, and at the top of the screen, i get the error " program not responding", then i must close everything and restart and it is the same!!
Please give me a solution to this problem

 Hello, i think it worked, now it shows firmware version 18.0.
Does it mean it is updated?

 It is now reading TE28F640J3C TSOP56 OK, but it cannot program it, it says this:
Auto program....
Erase....
Program....
