 My VP-280 thinks a chip is on the socket and there is not! :(

Un&Re-installed the WUP&T software. Tried other USB cables. Ran System Update with WUP&T program and JP1. Followed Contents: 3.7 Error Message. No fix. :(

After JP1, got error message 005EBE044545B68C when I try to check/program a chip.

Removed the top part of 280 (socket, pn# T10-4525) and WUP&T starts ok. But can"t program.　When I put the top back on--WUP&T starts with same error message. Still can"t program. :(

 Please do self_test without chips on the socket, and please send me the picture on the first error and send the picture to weilong@weilei.com.cn. Maybe there is a transistor goes bad.

 Emailed requested pics to zhl.

zhl had me change the Q16(SS8050,NPN transistor) and change the V43 and V21　(SS8550, PNP transistor) parts on the top board.

Did that,　now the programmer does not think that there is a chip on the board when it starts up. :)

But, today, I ran self test again, and it failed test. Test stopped a P14. INPUT IS HIGH!!!

What parts do I need to change next?

 Replace V8,V27(SS8550) and Q1(SS8050) on the top board as directed. Ran Self Test. Programmer software reports: System Test OK! :):):)

Programmed 27C4096, ok. So, so far so good. Going to program some more chips in the morning. :D
