 What do the two LEDs indicate.　They are not described in the manual.

I just received my new VP-996 but I am having trouble.

I get Programmer trouble ID 410FF3D7000000E6 when I do a verify of a TMS370C758B.

Also I noticed that the 48 pin socket is not level with the surface of the programmer.　The socket is lower at the top (handle side) and higher at the bottom of the socket.
