if the chip can been writed by VP-480,it also can been writed by VP998

I updated my VP-290 and now it doesn"t program at all.

Is there any way to perform a factory reset to the original FW?
SW is ver 4.7.0 and 290 is at FW 5.0.

VP390 on Windows 10

I have a VP390 and wish to install it on a new Windows 10 laptop.　
The website indicates I need software version 4.7.1.　

I downloaded the file DISK471 and installed it, but when run it does
not recognise the VP390, and pops up the list of programmers
supposedly supported by version 4.7.2.

Is there a version of the software that will actually work with the
VP390 on Windows 10, and if so, where?

The download option 2 seems to have the wrong disk file packaged into it. It should be Disk471, but when extracted it is Disk 1.

Hello,

I am trying to program a TMS 2532 using my VP598 and an adaptor that converts the pins for 2732 to 2532.

I can read successfully but unable to program. This programmer should support VPP 25V? however when I select Intel 2732 with my adaptor to 2532 it will not program as it shows VPP 21V not 25V.

2732 should be 25V as this is in the supported list of devices for the Wellon VP598. Help?

2732 only need　21V. If your adaptor is OK, you can select "Setting--Modify Algorthm Parameters" and modify VPP from 21V to 25V.

I bought VP598 few days ago on AliExpress. It worked well for one day i have tried to read some eproms... after 2 days i wanted to write some eproms but in device manager i only have "Unknown device" when i plug it in.
I have tried to get help from distributor but i think they cant help me.
I have tried it on other machine it didnt work - same problem "Unknown device". Then i tried another USB cable. I dont have idea what to do. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Using the VP390 to test logic ICs, the test for CMOS 4503, 4508　do not work, even with brand new devices.
the problem is with the tri-state output.　The VP390 does not appear able to consistently test for a
high-impedance output.

Can anyone confirm that this is not just my VP390, but a general design or pattern problem, and is there
any way of testing for Hi-Z outputs or two-supply (level-shifter) devices?

With new VP898 and device K9GAG08U0E I got Man.code: 00 Dev.Code: FF, if I press retry I got correct codes: Man.Code:EC Dev.Code:D5 , bud trying to read or program fails.
Tested on Win7 32b and win7 64b

Please install usb driver. If your system can"t automatic installation, you can manual installation. Connect the programmer to the computer and find the "unknown device" in the "Device Manager".Select "Unknown Device" and click "Right Click" and upgrade driver. Hello. I"m curious as to if there is a compatibility list for each programmer or if there is an easy way to tell. Right now I own a Wellon VP-299 and it doesn"t seem to support any of the chips I want to read from/write to. Would it be possible to recommend a programmer that supports the following chips?

ST M27C1024 40-pin EEPROM
MX 29LV160TMC-90 SOP-44
NEC 78081G503 QFP-44 (using 40-pin adapter)

For the 78081, I"m more interested in reading the chip. So having a programmer that supports that specific chip is necessary. The rest of the chips are for writing though.

Initially, thank you for the help I received to solve the connection to Windows 10 problem. This time, I need you to help me to solve the VP-590 "Programmer Trouble! ID:01481DFFFFFFFFFF". I am having an issue with the VP299 where it comes up with an error saying
that there is an overcurrent with the chip.　The chip is a Lattice GAL22V10 and it is known good chip as it will program with a VP290.　

Any suggestions?
