if it"s not possible an update software, it"s possible ?

the wellon are great prog but the gq4x have this ref .

i prefere buy a wellon but the am 29f032b compatibility are priority .

VP-280 write fail 29f010

I have a vp-280 programmer and can not write 29f010. Going to read it, go to erase it without any error, but it does not work you write. Flash 29f400bt go written, deleted, read without any problem. What could be the problem goes writing? 29f010 say that is new and I tried with 4 different pcs. Thanks

VP 390 and AT89C51RD2

I am trying to use VP390 and Ver 4.6.0 to program Atmel AT89C51RD2 using the WL-P44-P4 adapter. When I load the file and program the part, it verifies but the part does not operate. When I read the data it appears OK

When I try a known good programmed part and Read from the chip into the buffer then all locations appear as FF.

What else do I need to check?

It may be secure. Please edit and prog. config. If you want read file from chip, you don"t lock LB0--LB2.

Hi, i"m on 4.60 software. I have 6116 RAM to test, I press "SELECT" button, select SRAM on the right side, and select HITACHI, and the device list is empty. Please help.

Hello Mr.
Thank for reply. Unfortunately i try 3 versions of Wellon software 4.3.4, 4.5.2 and 4.6.0 but nothing. After the software initializes the programmer the "G/E" led turn off from green. Prior to damage programmer worked perfectly with version 4.5.2. Please send to me the procedures to send the programmer for repair (address, payment method, etc.) because i need this programmer.

Flash 29f200bb (sop44 + adapter dip48) the address of the buffer for example 0000h 12h , after writing 12h is the address 2000h !!
adapter 100% ok.
please solve the problem

Problem with newest software

I just downloaded and installed the newest software dated 1/7/2013. I am running Windows 7 64bit with a VP-498 programmer. When I try to manually select a device I get a Runtime Error.I did not have this issue with any other software.

VP-290 set protection on AM29F010B

Hi,

I am trying to program AM29F010B using the VP-290.

The 29F010B has a feature to protect the device but I can not activate the protection.

When I look at the computer screen for my programmer the "SECU" icon is grey.

My software is version 4.6.0

This file is not complete and you need to fix it please.

Software version 21/12/12 not working !!

I downloaded the latest software version of 21/12/12, the file is 26mb, but when i open it to start the install, i get an error,

" Checksum mismatch. the installation is corrupt or has been tampered with. if you downloaded this file from the internet, try downloading it again"

I have tried 3 times and it is the same problem !
The system is Windows 7 64bit

Please fix this issue

Hello! The programmer VP-980 didn’t support K8Q2815UQB, the new series programmer can support this chip, like VP-990. About the chip MX29GL128, please swap the high-low byte with 16byte mode in the buffer Editor.

cannot progam 48 pin TSOP in DIP42

I　use a 27c800 42 DIP socket type.　I want to use a AM29F800B 48 pin TSOP on a 42 pin adapter instead. I created a 42 pin DIP adapter with the 29F800B TSOP and tried to program it in the Wellon 380 programmer. it can do a blankcheck fine and a read fine but not a write.

Thanks for the reply.　Due to the chip being soldered onto the 42pin adapter board your adapter would be of no use so i will make an adapter board for it.　I am assuming that the adapter board you mentioned is a pin for pin adapter ( 1 to 1, 2 to 2 etc) ?

Hey. I have a VP-390 and was using it happily in Windows 7, burning 4096"s without issue. Since moving to Windows 8 I tried burning a 4096 and get the follow error:

This error occurs 100% of the time, no matter what 4096 EPROM I use. Blank Check passes successfully when checked by itself.

Because K9GAG08U0E is a high-capacity memory, maybe has some bad blocks. If it has bad block, program will be failed.

Hi, I have a trouble. I try erase various locked intel BGA64 - 28F320 , with Vp890,　erase only adress from 0000 until 3DFFF0 , and from 3E0000 until 40000F not erase. My friend have a Up2008 program and he to reprogram 100%. Its possible fix this ?

Still problem with vp-490

still got problem when programming using my brand new vp-490

this time with ST M27C1024

still pragram then somes seconds after start,program fails!

note that:
-thoses eprom can be programmed on an vp-280 (so its works not bad eproms)
-i"m using latest software (02/11/2012)
-i"m on windows 7 64 bits and tested on windows 7 32bits too

-i"m using CORRECTLY my vp-490,that"s means that i put ac adapter before plugin USB cable and i always use ac adapter
