VP-280 unable to program EEPROM 27128

I have VP-280 with latest SQ 4.3.4. FW 12.0.
I can not program any EEPROM 27128. I tested 5 peices but still fail.

This is message:

System-Test: OK
VPP Vol. Cal (21V) = 20.7V
EEPROM chips are user 1st time, cleared wit UV eraser.
What is the problem?

You can try using a UV eraser to erase the chip for more than 40 minutes. And add VP280"s power. If it is useless, give up those chips, they are at least 20 years old.

1.clean chip pins and socket to make the connect well. 2.use AC adapter. 3.eraser time longer than 40 min,at least. if your chip do not have erase window，it may be one-time chip.

if you copy chip,you need use no bad block chip. if you want use the chip with bad block,maybe you need order sperial skip bad block algorithm

VP-390 Low input and ground

Hello I have 3 different vp 390s and they work for a short time and then they stop initializing. When I do a self test it tells me it has a low input and ground. I am running the most current software using windows xp. These are failing way to early.

Trying to read and write this eeprom with VP-596 FW 22.0 SW 4.6.6
Adapter WL-TSOP48-U001
Tested on Windows 8 64 bit　and Windows 7 64-bit

Reading gets different output each time!
Auto program always fail.
Verify always fail.

Same behavior with EEPPROM S29GL032A90TFAR4

How can i fix it?

There was a problem in decimal point. In my windows setting i have decimal point "," not "."
In wellon software i see 3,00 but i have to input 3.3 for change.
If i input 3.3 noting is changed.
Writing to eeprom is working at 3,35V

Thank you for answer. I see in others wellon programmer, that support for 25L3273E there is. It"s a shame That wellon ended support for the VP890. I will not buy next product from wellon When, I lose after two years of support. SPI was a typo, I meant ISP.

Hello, I have VP890 and firmware version 23.00 with software 4.7.1. But the latest software use is not very good idea. In SW 4.7.1 and 4.7.0 was removed many SPROM device from the list or may only use ISP cable. You can use older software, for example 4.6.6. It works much better.

Although I can initialize the attached VP990, when I select SHARP LH28F160S5HT*56TS, I get:

so been using this programmer for a couple years now and for the most part its been working well. so i been programming chips all day and one wouldnt read pin 21. so i clean the pin and put it back in and it still wont read. so i get another eeprom and now all wont read pin 21. any ideas? thanks

Programmer VP-490 in the next update of the program version
4.6.6 flew in the serial number and firmware version identifier.
Now the programmer is not working. Reset driver reset is done via a program complete with version 4.6.6.
Help restore the programmer, there is no money to buy a new !!!!

Not possible download software

This website www.weilei.com is the slowest site i have ever seen, i am trying to download the software for my VP990 and it is not possible, it is too slow, and the download says it will take 5 hours and then it stops.
Get your stuff together Weilei, it has always been like this and it is getting worst.

I install last version 4.6.4 on XP computer and update firmware. Now when i go to read a eeprom 93C56
wellon give me "communication error",
I try with others eeprom and came same error.
I remove all wellon program and reinstall all but i have same result: programmer not work.

How i can solve this error?

Every time I try to program something other than 0xFFs it gives me the following message:
