VP990 problem

Hello everyone
I have received my new programmer today, VP990 which i bought from an official distributor in Europe
Do i have to and how can i register for the guarantee?
Also, when i try to read a chip, always shows as chip blank FFF
i used my old programmer and it works ok
Any ideas please?

Is it possible to read/write a chip, for example 24C04 using a test clip directly on the chip / board, without desolder the chip
Or, do i have to desolder the chip?

OK then, it is strange because on my basic universal programmer, it is　possible. The VP990 cost me 7 times the price of my basic pogrammer ( GQ-4X ) and it can"t read on board ?

Problems with Vp280

Hello since yesterday I have some Problems with my V280.The first problem ist that the software means that there ist a mistake during the initalisation of the epromer during the start of the software. I tried 3 Pc and always the same. I can ignore the mistake can sometimes work with the V280 ans somteimes not. A system Update does´nt make any change. the second problem is that the Software 4.30 doesn´t support the 27C1024 PLCC on the Vp280. with the 4.20 it is supported. Can anybody help me?

29F080MC-70 trouble

I am owner of VP-590 model, today from one dvd player i take out sop44 on him writed 29F080-70, manufacturer is Macronix and when i try to read in buffer i see all zero but to end of dump i see FF can my VP-590 can read or cant that flash chip, dvd player is from my service and i can kill him isnt important but i try training and im erase him now dvd not work and im not read dump. Any sulution for help??

VP-280 fails to test HM2114 sram

I have tried to test a number of 2114"s including HM2114"s and they all have the same result. They pass the memory tests in the pcb they came from.

VP-280 self test fails

Hello,
I have a VP-280. When I do a self test I get error VCC output is low (P38). All other test are OK. The voltage check 5V, 12V and 21V are also OK. What can I do/repair myself? This error is propably the reason why some eproms (27512) are read as blank eproms even if they do contain data. I"m using the latest software and firmware.

You can download our software 4.3.3 on the web http://www.weilei.com.cn/dow.asp. After install the software, connect the VP-280. After connect the vp-280, the VP-280 may communicate normally.

Hello. I think your software might be reading this chip out at the wrong size? I am getting 1 GB files when reading them but the datasheet seems to indicate they are 2 GB chips. Am I reading correctly? The datasheet is here:
