VP-280 self test fails

Hello,
I have a VP-280. When I do a self test I get error VCC output is low (P38). All other test are OK. The voltage check 5V, 12V and 21V are also OK. What can I do/repair myself? This error is propably the reason why some eproms (27512) are read as blank eproms even if they do contain data. I"m using the latest software and firmware.

Secondly,if both LED are bright,please run Wellon ,check the bottom of the interface after "programmer initiate success" if the software can identify the programmer S/N and ID(ID is about 14 bit bytes followed S/N).Tell me if it can identify ID.　 Thirdly,which version of the software do you use?You can use up to V3.9.7. You can download our software 4.3.3 on the web http://www.weilei.com.cn/dow.asp. After install the software, connect the VP-280. After connect the vp-280, the VP-280 may communicate normally.

Hi, I am reading GAL 16V8D on VP-280 which has program and works properly and loading it to an empty GAL16V8D. On the screen of VP280, I saw the program OK. Loaded GAL 16V8D does not work on the electronic board. How can ı solve this problem? Is there any way to copy GAL 16V8D

Hello! Did the chip encrypt? If your chip is encrypt, you can"t read the real data, and program it in the chip, the chip can"t work on the board.

Hello. I think your software might be reading this chip out at the wrong size? I am getting 1 GB files when reading them but the datasheet seems to indicate they are 2 GB chips. Am I reading correctly? The datasheet is here:

This high-capacity memory is possible have bad block. The chip manufacturer only ensure that the first block is good.

Our tested it OK. Which software to try? First you can download our latest software to try. If it still failed, you can select the option "Device ID Check" and see if the ID can be read right.

Which programmer you used, VP-280 or VP-590?
If your chip is old and protected, the vp-280 will be fail.

First you have to connect the AC adapter. And if it still failed, you can change the parameter tPW to 14, 21, 28,.......If it still failed, please contact us again in English.

I have baught a VP380, then tried to read a flash M29F200BB,

The model is supported, i have PSOP44 pin, but when selecting this model on software it say that it have 48 Pin, but mine have only 44pin,

Is VP380 don"t support that model ?

I"m looking to get a VP-590 programmer and I keep seeing the Vp-490 on eBay claiming to be the export version of the Vp-590.
But I cant find any info on the website about the Vp-490.
Are they the same or just some clone?
