VP-280 Blank Check fail

I have a VP-280.　When performing blank check I am coming up with a comms error after 100s on an old Intel D27256-2 chip that is supposed to be supported.　Any ideas as to why?

You mean that you program 27c040 with vp-480 OK before, but this lot it doesn"t work? From the lot number, these chips may be producted in 1995.It probably have already old or used.You can check if the lot number of these chips are all the same.Also you can test the resistance between VCC and VSS.

What does message "Over current detected" when reading MCU tiny45 means? Otherwise programming successfull except config data. On other programmer no error. I didn"t use power adapter, some other CPUs works fine, no error.

When you use the programmer,you had better contact the power adapter.If you only contact the USB interface,sometime,the current that the computer board supply,isn"t enough,or isn"t steady.At the same time,every chip"s capability parameter is different,the current parameter is different.So you had better contact the power adapter.

VP-480 & DALLAS DS1386-32

Hi,

I am trying to program several DS1386-32 - it always fails.

I tried ti fill the buffer with all 0x00/0xff - same results.

Using version 4.2.0

Please advise.

PS: I just tried a DS1386-8 and it works just fine, so there is something wrong with DS1386-32

Besides - the device is identified as E/EPROM while this is a SRAM + timekeeper.

S29GL01　Wellon VP-880 problem

VP-880 cannot erase the Spansion S29GL01 (TSOP56) flash. When erasing, the software comes up with an error when ending the　erase process.　Reading the device does work. Have tested with 4 flash devices, all the same issue.

I checked but it does not work.
Example:
S29GL032A　- sector SA0-SA11 ( 0x0-0xAFFFF ) not deleted. S11-S63 erase and program OK.
M28W320FST,FSU - sector 70,69,68,67 ( 0x0-0x1FFFF ) not deleted 66-0 erased & program ok.

VP-480 and Lattice isp2064VE

I have　programmed the Lattice isp2064/A and /E devices. I would like to now program the isp2064VE (3.3VDC) devices. How can I do that with the VP-480? When I purchased the programmer, I thought it would support these devices.

Intel PLD 5C032 With Wellon 880

I need to read an Intel PLD type 5C032. It"s not listed on the Wellon site. I must have used this device in place of a "standard" 16L8 type part back in the early 90"s. I only need to read the fuse table so that I can figure out what the heck I did?

If it"s not listed, can I read it as something else? (Or will the programmer not allow this?)

Any help would be appreciated.

PALCE16V8H-15JC/4 programming

I am trying to program a AMD PALCE16V8H-15JC/4 using a Wellon VP-480 device.
The jedec file was generated using WinCUPL in "device dependent" mode.
The generated JEDEC file looks OK.
The Wellon programming software (ver. 4.1.0) says it programmed the device OK. But when I try to verify once again the programming: then NOK and when I read the device, the read JEDEC file is very different from original.
Tried many times, the same result!

Your chip has already be secured,so you can not read the right data out of the original chip.For this reason,the file you saved before did not have any data ,That is why your chip is not work.If you want to solve this problem you should find the soure file of the original chip and then according to what I said before.

Maybe you do not program Config　when you program
PIC16f73. When you want to program PIC16f73,you can do as follows:

　 1,Please select PIC16f73 in our software.
　 2,Please load the HEX file properly.
　 3,Click "Config" in the menu column,select options what you want ,and then　click "OK".
　 4,Select "Erase\Blank Check" and "Program\Verify" and "Prog Config" in　"Edit Auto" on the right side screen.
　 5,Last clilk "Prog" In the menu column.

Macronix MX27C1610 on VP-880

I"m having trouble in programming of MX27C1610 by VP-880.
MX27C1610 is on your support list and programming process is processed with no trouble.
But after programing process, verify error occur.
Nothing is written to device.
Of course, I tried to program other new MX27C1610 and result was same.

Please confirm and fix that.

I have a VP-480 with tsop48 adapter.
Please could you tell me if there is a way to only read (I do not need to write) the datas stored into a Hitachi HN29W25611T-50H (256M AND type Flash Memory) ?
Is it possible to write a program for VP-480 (source code in which language ?) that can send correct commands to read datas in this flash memory ?

Problems with a 27c1024 PLCC and VP-280

Hello,I have big problems with my Vp280. I try to program a 27c1024 Plcc44. When I program the eprom everything seems okay and the veryfing is okay. But when I read the Eprom and compare it the file there is a difference of two bit. Does anybody have the same problem or can hepl me with the problem?

VP-290 can erase the chip 29f010.But,VP-290 can"t erase 27C010.Because the chip 27C010 is ultraviolet.So it need a ultraviolet erase device to earse it.The chip 95160 didn"t need erase.You can programme it directly everytime.Please tell me the chip"s package.VP-290 only can support these chip"s PDIP package. I have purcheesed 2 programers VP-880 .I found aproblem with this model [vp-880] the programer dose not erase the flash starting with ST M28W..　　　
example　 ST M28W800CB / M28W160CB / M28W160CT
about all ver [ 3.99 /4.0.0 /4.1.0 ]
It takes very long time erasing　[30 Min] and at end the program fail

We test the chip OK. So you can connect the external power supply and change the parameter VCC from 3.0V to 3.6V to try several times, and also can checked the option "slow program/read". If it still has problems, I think you may send a couple of samples to us to test.
